Who will be shooting/filming my wedding?
It will always be either daniel or carey (depending on whether it is photo or video), and if additional shooters are added they will be professionals who match our style and expectations.
How long have you been in the wedding industry?
We have been shooting and filming weddings since 2005, and are both full-time.
How many weddings have you shot for as the lead photographer and/or videographer?
We shoot and/or film approximately 20-25 weddings each year. We limit this so we can maintain our creativity and maximize our family time.
How do I book WhenItClicks?
Simply email daniel@whenitclicks.com or you can check availability to enter a few details and we’ll take it from there!
What if WhenItClicks isn’t available for my wedding date?
Of course we would be bummed, but don’t fear. We have many great relationships with other photographer/videographers in the DFW area, and will be happy to refer you!
Is WhenItClicks available for travel?
Of course! While most of our weddings are located in the greater DFW area, we are available for travel. Expenses will be pre-approved and added to whatever packages and services we provide.
Portraits
What are your portrait session prices?
Portrait packages begin at $250, and we are open to discuss each person’s budget.
Do you own a studio?
No, we do not own a studio , and prefer to do all of our shoots on location using as much natural light as possible. We feel this gives us the best images and can be a better expression of your style and personality.
How long do your portrait sessions typically last?
There are several contributors to the length of time (# of locations, # of subjects, # of outfits), but after discussing creative ideas and developing a plan that best captures your expectations, we would plan accordingly. Most shoots last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half.
What should we wear/bring to a portrait session?
As to wardrobe, if you are a family…something that coordinates, but doesn’t necessarily match. Solids with similar color tones will do. Individuals should dress to match your style and personality. We want you to be comfortable.
As to props or special items, these are optional but always make the shoot more fun and meaningful. If you can’t think of your own, we can help guide you to some suggestions.
How much retouching will you do, and will I need to pay extra if I would like more photos?
We try to do as little retouching as possible, but like to have some creative freedom to make adjustments as needed. Extensive requests or retouches will be at an additional charge.
How do I proof and purchase my portraits?
You will have the opportunity to view your images in an online gallery, and make a small number of requests if necessary. If you would like to purchase prints, we would be honored to have you into our home where you can view your images on a large screen and make print selections from a variety of samples.
Will I receive a CD of all the images upon completion?
Yes, we do offer the CD of all the images at an additional charge.
